...on bookshelves in the sports, history, and children’s section...and in EDGE, SportScene, Street & Smith, SportStyle, Blitz, Racquet Magazine and Sporting Goods Business. He developed IMP’s groundbreaking Heroes, Feats & Facts direct-mail sports series, and produced the copy for Woodstock ’94—The Guide, the official programs for the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup, and the official preview for the World Championship of Basketball. A crack interviewer, he has published Q&A’s with cultural icons ranging from Peter Max to Norma Kamali to Mehmet Oz. Mark’s books include biographies of Derek Jeter, Eli Manning, Rafael Nadal, Kobe Bryant, Jeff Gordon, Tiger Woods, Tony Hawk and Venus & Serena Williams. He published his 250th book in the spring of 2009.

MARKETING BACKGROUND
Mark’s claim to fame in advertising circles is the NBA’s “I Love This Stuff” campaign. He has created marketing, sales & PR materials for more than a dozen major accounts, from Winnie the Pooh to DuPont to the NBA. Clients include Sesame Street (media kit), Audiovox (press kit), NEI (print ads), Zurich Reinsurance (annual report), Starwood Hotels (multi-media marketing presentations), Whole Foods Market (consumer brochure), and The Sports Licensing & Tailgate Show (press releases, b2b brochures & web content).

SECRET TALENT
Comedy writing. He penned the opening monologue for Jackie Mason’s CD collection of favorite comedy shows.

TWIST HIS ARM...
...and he’ll admit that while writing an Egyptian-themed Adventure Seekers kids menu for Denny’s, he penned the immortal words: “A sizzling hot dog in an oasis of french fries.”
