My style of play won't ever change, because I enjoy that aggressive style of golf. It allows me to play my best. When I attack pins, I stay more focused. I get more into the shot and, consequently, I get more out of the shot and out of my game by playing aggressive. Arnold wrote a note saying, ‘Listen, that style of play won me a number of tournaments. It's already won you a number of tournaments. Stay with it. Don't be changing anything.’ That meant a lot. I have not found my perspective on my career change. What I have found is that my life in general has been more fulfilling. To be able to influence an individual's life and on who they become as a person is a very rewarding feeling. If I have a great rest of my career, and go out and win 20 more tournaments and seven more majors to get to 50 wins and 10 majors—which would be an awesome career—I still won't get to where [Tiger Woods] at today. So I don't try to compare myself against him. It's a fun challenge to [try to] beat him [Tiger Woods]. He's most likely the best player the game has ever seen. It's between him and Jack. To be able to play against him in his prime is a great challenge. I've had to overcome tough losses in the past. Certainly Winged Foot was a tough loss. Shinnecock [2004 U.S. Open] was a tough loss. I doubled 17 there to lose and had to come back from that. Losing the PGA in '01 after three-putting 16 was probably the hardest because I had not won a major at the time. I didn't know for sure if I could do it. "Well, you know, I don't really want to trade next year. I certainly enjoyed having the jacket put on me rather than putting it on." "There are very few courses where I just get excited just to go play, and every time I stand on the first tee at Augusta National, I'm excited just to play a round of golf. There are very few things in the game that I love more than just playing here, and it's great to play and see the course when there's nobody out here." What I like to do is to try to win as many tournaments and as many majors as I can, and with him [Tiger Woods] in the field, it just gives it more credibility, whatever it is I am able to accomplish. I know this. I'm not going to change "Changing would not give me the best chance to win. I need to have fun. I need to attack." "I would rather try a shot to win than play safe and finish second." "I don't think my style of play is what has prevented me from winning major championships. I think that execution has been more of a factor." "I’m proud of my wife and the fighting struggle she’s been through."
